A Sunday Afternoon @Golden Gardens

First off…this isn’t a garden .. But it is an awesome beach  park  for summers, a good hanging out spot during winter time and has an off leash area for dogs . This is a great place to grab your favorite drink, walk around, sit on one of the benches while looking out at the water and the sun set over the Olympics, talk and spend time with someone you care about. The park has beautiful sandy beaches, is BBQ-friendly, offers beautiful views of the Olympics and plenty of waterfront property to spread out… this is a gem of a city park.(More photos after the jump) Continue reading →

An Hour Goes By So Fast on the Weekend

Have you ever felt like weekdays goes by so slow and weekends goes too fast? The only explanation I think,weekends seems to whizz by so quickly because you’re actually doing something you enjoy.It seems to me while you are working, working hours feels like an eternity. It always takes too long to pass that 6+ hours a day at work. While at home, time goes so fast, and 24 hours a day at home seems not enough for me. Don’t you feel the same? Anyways ,my weekend was filled up with Ikea shopping,house chores,friends came over and we hung out~ today,we went to pick up our friends’ sister from the airport and wrapped up our weekend with great conversations,watching movies,drinking and eating.How was yours?

It’s no secret  that I am a huge fan of photography! I basically take a picture/photo of anything that capture my attention and tells a story when one look at it. So today I decided to do something I have never done before, and that is “Food Photography”.We’ve all seen the seductive photos of vividly colorful fresh vegetables, sumptuous cherry pies, and golden-brown roasted turkeys. These pictures, often found in glossy cookbooks and magazines, make us believe that if we follow the recipe we, too, can create such delectable dishes. My challenge for today was to make few dishes,invite friends over,enjoy the meal and take as many photographs as I can. And I did just that..

Celebrating Our Love Over and Over Again

My husband and I, just celebrated our 7 years wedding anniversary on 08/15. I cannot believe how fast the 7 years went by. Seven years later,and we are still very much in love. Our marriage is a testament to how great marriage can be when a couple allows God to be the center of everything.In order for a marriage to work we have learned to look past the imperfections and at the same time be accepting of the other, realizing the imperfections each one has and try to work and make the necessary changes. Our love has been nothing but unconditional love and ,I thank God for bringing us together.

Then it was time for a traditional dress-up party( women only).. LOLZ.. Don’t we look nice wearing these beautiful SARIS?! Hopeful I get to own one soon (hint..hint-> Isha).. Such beautiful pieces.. I am in Love..


Next day (The official day 8-15).. we went to an indoor shooting range.We have always wanted to do this as a couple, but never got time to do so, This was our opportunity,needless to say it was fun, but I was so scared the moment I held that Mossberg M22.
then next stop was at the K-1 Speed Indoor Go Kart Racing.. time to be kids again right?!. It was a group of six people racing, and I ended up finishing at number 5.. not bad..

Lucky Number 7 Years Anniversary With My Best Friend (My Husband)

My husband and I, are celebrating our 7th Wedding anniversary, along with our poochie Coco ( you know I had to mention him also). Our wedding anniversary is tommorrow Aug 15th.It will be 7 years but we have been a couple for 11 years!…
Seven(7) years!! I can hardly believe that we had been a man and wife for this long,but it feels like yesterday.Time flew by and I cannot wait to see what the future holds for us.We have been through so much together,through thick and thin and our love for each other has only grown stronger.I thank God for giving me this wonderful man.I love you, babes!

Friends of Russian tycoon Vlad Doronin are surprised Naomi Campbell is still hanging on to him. Whenever he’s in London, he lives with his wife, Katya, and his teenage daughter. And the couple, who have an open marriage, have no immediate plans to divorce. 
Vlad supposedly bought Naomi a penthouse in Rio last year for $18 million, and she gets to fly private with him everywhere. Russian billionaire Vladislav Doronin is so smitten with the British supermodel he splashed out on the exclusive residence in Jardins, Sao Paulo, as a “gift” for her, according to the New York Post newspaper. A source said: “Naomi told Vladimir how much she loved Brazil and that she really wanted to settle down there. Weekend Get~Away To Cannon Beach,OR

    This past weekend we ~ (my husband and I , and our pooch Coco) went to Cannon Beach, one of the best Oregon Coast beaches for a short weekend get~away. We love Oregon’s scenic coastline and Oregon’s rich marine waters.The weather was absolutely beautiful,very calm and with blue sky, it was something that was much needed for the weekend.
    The highlight of our get~away was the beautiful sunset, beach bonfire pit, the beautiful moon over calm ocean while we ate dinner at the beach and my ooh my..the approximately 12 miles long beach…Sunset Beach, which..much of it is accessible by car… had the most beautiful view.Sunset Beach provides visitors with direct access to the Pacific Ocean with expansive views from Cape Disappointment to the north and Ecola State Park to the south.
   If you love nature and natural beauty environment, you will like the Pacific scenery in Oregon better than anywhere else on the West Coast I think.We will definitely go back there again..for the fifth time. :)

Valentine’s day is a week from today.
The shops will soon be full of sloppy cards and 
cutest presents for St Valentines Day. 
The verses inside these cards will talk of 
love and the stars above and be extremely romantic. 
It is easy to confuse romance with love.
Valentine’s Day is not the only day to show love.
Romance is not something you do once a year. It’s a daily lifestyle!
Romance does not have to be a bottle of expensive wine, 
or a bouquet of flowers. 
It can be a phone call to say, “I love you,” a homemade card, 
or simply serving a breakfast in bed to your loved one. 
February 14th, the day of red hearts and cupids! 
I’ve never understood why we only set aside 
one day per year to focus on 
one of the most important things in the world-LOVE! 
Seems to me everyday should be the day for 
expressing how much we love and care for others. 
So here goes to my everyday Valentine, my husband~ Alex~

Elizabeth and John Edwards Separate!

Elizabeth Edwards and former two-time Democratic presidential candidate John Edwards are legally separated,according to her spokesperson. The Edwards reside in North Carolina which allows for divorce after a couple lives separately for twelve months.

Edwards’ spokesperson would not give information on the date of the filing of the legal separation documents.
Custody and visitation of the couple’s youngest children, Emma Claire and Jack, is unclear as is their financial arrangement during the separation period.

“She said, ‘I’ve had it. I can’t do this. I want my life back,’ ” her sister, Nancy Anania, told People magazine in an article appearing in an upcoming issue.Elizabeth and John Edwards have been married since 1977 and have four children together, including daughter Cate and their deceased son Wade.(News from: Politics Daily)

How is everyone’s Sunday going?What did you do today? We had a very simple lazy Sunday. It has been raining all day, but still is beautiful outside.Coco still needed his walk.We took him to Golden Gardens Park ,one of the best and my favorite park here in Seattle. The park is located in Ballard on Puget Sound- this popular park offers extraordinary views of Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains.We took couple of photos while we were there!

At Golden Gardens park, still raining, but not bad considering it is snowing somewhere right now, so we are  way better.I can take rain anytime  :-)
