So I am officially a WordPresser!…YES…I’ve done the switch, so let me tell you it was easy. WP can import straight from Blogger. I just made a switch today and I am kinda liking this switch (crossing my fingers).The only main thing that made me switch is WP’s mobile app that let you easily update and manage your blog from an optimized smartphone user interface. You can easily create new posts, add media, manage comments, and more.
I signed up for WordPress a while back, but was having hard time trying to figure the whole thing out.I have been using Blogger for so long and have gotten used to all the features and was able to do a whole lot esp when it comes to customizing templates,HTMLs and CSS code edits.
I was able to import all of my previous posts from Blogger to WordPress and without deleting my Blogger blog~~Yaay~~The only thing though, some of the codes comes up broken, So I guess I need to work on figuring out the problem.I am on the learning process and I hope you’ll bear with me during this transition period. Hopeful I made a wise switch.
Forks,Washington is the setting to the very popular fictional series Twilight. Before the movies, before Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner, the world of Twilight existed solely in the little logging town of Forks, Washington.This is the setting that author Stephenie Meyer chose for her saga, and where so much of the richly detailed text takes place. This elusive town of only about 3,000 residents has always fascinated me.So my husband and I decided to take a trip down to Forks, Washington as a get away treat for our 7th wedding anniversary.
Our journey began with the drive from Seattle to Edmonds~Washington where we boarded a ferry to Kingston.From there we drove to Port Gamble,crossed The Hood Canal bridge to Sequim and stopped by the Dungeness Bay for a taste of crabs at The Three Crabs seafood restaurant and took more photos of us, beautiful birds and the Pacific ocean.

From Port Angeles we took highway 101 heading to Forks.The drive from Port Angeles to Forks was just beautiful ,driving through the Olympic National Park surrounded on one side by a constant wall of sky-high treetops and the serene Lake Crescent on the other, the winding drive into Forks truly did set up the atmosphere Meyer describes in her novels.
“The City of Forks Welcomes You” sign is what you see as you enter this small but now Worldly known city.
Upon arriving in Forks,we headed to a small Twilight sourvenier store where picked up a “Forks Twilight Map” highlighted with various Twilight locations, a list of stores selling trinkets and merchandise, as well as a list of great restaurants in town. The Visitor’s Center was closed so we decided to take the map and explore the town ourself.
We started at Forks Visitor’s Center, a log cabin type building with a replica of Bella’s red Chevrolet truck waiting outside.
Then headed to Bella’s House,The Outfitters,The Hospital where Dr Cullen works and saw his reserved parking spot,Forks High School,Police station where Bella’s dad Chief Swan works and The Cullen house.

Our final destination for our Twilight trip was La Push, the reservation just outside of Forks where Bella’s best friend Jacob Black lives. La Push is located about a fifteen minutes drive from Forks down a tree-lined highway.
Once in La Push,We walked down to First Beach where Bella goes with her high school friends and ends up hanging out with Jacob for the first time properly in Twilight. Jacob tells Bella about the “cold ones” which is how she first learns about vampires in Forks.
First Beach was full of piles of driftwood, had numerous rocky outcroppings with distant trees, and crashing waves rolled up onto the sand. It was a beautiful sunny day, but cold and windy.
We didn’t spend as much time at La Push as we would have liked, we were there for at least an hour or less, as we had to head back to Port Angeles to catch a ferry back to Seattle. We did enjoy this trip,It brought Stephanie Meyer’s stories to life.

Age ain’t nothing but a number.Dame Elizabeth Taylor may soon be walking down the aisle … for the ninth time. A source close to the Oscar-winning actress, 78, tells UsMagazine.com exclusively that Taylor recently got engaged to Jason Winters, 49, of Sterling Winters Management. Before all the iPad buzz has even had a chance to fizzle, Apple this morning sent e-mails inviting press to a sneak preview of the next-generation iPhone operating system.
The event is scheduled for Thursday, 10 a.m. PT at Apple headquarters.
Apple has not officially disclosed any details about its next iPhone OS, but a few rumors suggest it will introduce enhanced multitasking. The current iPhone OS (3.0) only allows a few core apps, such as iPod and Mail, to run in the background while another app is active.
The iPhone, iPod Touch, and iPad all run the iPhone operating system.
Rumors hint that iPhone OS 4 will have a multitasking feature based on Apple’s Exposé, a tool in Mac OS X that enables users to see all open applications in an exploded view and quickly switch between them.
We’ll find out whether that’s true soon enough. Apple’s iPhone OS 3.0 preview event in March 2009 was rather transparent. During that press conference, Apple demonstrated a new copy-and-paste feature for the iPhone, as well as the ability for apps to communicate with special-purpose accessories. Then at the Worldwide Developers Conference in June, Apple announced the release of iPhone OS 3.0 along with new iPhone hardware.
In short, if Apple stays consistent, don’t expect to download iPhone OS 4.0 until summer.
